We would like to mention that we are on a very stable and secure server however from time to time regular maintenance may have to be scheduled by our hosting provider and their data center.. We would like to apologise in advance if the website is unavailable at anytime, this may or may not include web mail.

Scheduled maintenance sessions are few and far between however we will give you notice of these here:

DDoS Attacks

We have been subject to a sustain DDoS attack over the last 24 hours, we have now managed to bring this attack under control and are currently planning some network upgrades to minimise the effect of future DDoS attacks.

Server not offline but connection reset twice in last 48hrs

03/10/2009 – Major disruption  causing 1 day downtime

The server containing the information for christ4u.co.uk took a major hit over the weekend causing the server to reboot and not restart. The Data center stated that the problem was ‘a strange one’, there were files missing all over the server, some programs would fail to start and the backup files were empty, without explanation.

We figure that Satan really isn’t happy at the witness and power that our website holds, we have been under attack and he is doing everything possible to reduce the impact, integrity and effectiveness that christ4u.co.uk has!

Fortunately remote backups were taken and have been restored, however; the server was already secure as possible when this incident occurred so we invite you to pray with us to ensure that Satan’s future efforts in faultering this website be futile… Amen!
